Norbert Riss has more than twenty years of professional experience in the areas of project management, business planning and marketing. He worked mainly in liaison positions between marketing and technology and developed an excellent sense of what is achievable. He can build on a dual education in engineering and business administration.
He changes often between conceptional work and implementation and is therefore an experienced partner in both areas.
His development was influenced from the beginning by an international environment. He studied electrical engineering within a joint European scheme in Germany, France and England and received his degree (Diplomingenieur) from the University of Karlsruhe. After two years of professional experience he enrolled at the renowned business institute INSEAD at Fontainebleau/France and graduated with a Master of Business Administration (MBA). Later on he completed the "Renewable Energy Finance" certification program at the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management. His mother tongue is German. He speaks fluent English, French and Spanish.
